Site Updates: Changing "Friends" to "Followers" on Christian.org

The word "Christian" means "Christ-follower".  The Apostle Paul said "Follow me, even as I follow Christ."

No one is perfect - and Christians certainly are not!  Christians are sinners too...just "sinners saved by grace".  We are trying to follow after Christ as best we can.  I count myself as a "work in progress" - how about you?

On Christian.org, we just changed the "Friending" feature to be "Follow".  As you find Christian writers, bloggers, and Christians you think maybe you can learn something from on Christian.org, then "Follow" them - that is, follow them as they follow Christ!

If you are looking for a website to stay connected with your friends, then Facebook is the place!  Can't beat it, and not trying to.

We want Christian.org to not be not about friends and social networking as much, but instead about discipleship and a community of Christians growing together in our Christian walk!  And if you have been a Christian awhile and have something to share and help others, then I hope this will be a place that you can minister to others on-line. 

And as you pray for others, blog, discuss and share, maybe others will follow you as you follow Christ!
